The popular dance game series, Just Dance, has its latest version out now and is likely to be appearing a lot of Christmas lists this year.
The game is avaliable on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Wii U and amazingly the Wii. I was not aware anyone was still making games for the Wii but such is the popularity of Just Dance and the Wii that they appear to be perfect partners.
This year, and I’m sure in future years we find ourselves with a little problem when it comes to Christmas presents.
Our eldest daughter is 2 and youngest is 6 months old. With Christmas approaching we’ve got to try to figure out sensible present buying strategies for both of them.
The problem comes mainly with what to buy our 6 month old. We already have lots and lots of toys and clothing for her that her sister has already enjoyed. At first we thought we should maybe just not really get her anything much for Christmas but we want her older sister to see that Christmas is for the whole family, including her baby sister.
We don’t really want to buy loads of unnecessary baby toys but still want her to have some presents just for her. Buying for the oldest always feels like a better purchase as it has potential to be enjoyed by all who follow.
Has anyone been through this before with siblings and trying to make sure that everyone is catered for? How did you manage this?
Last week I received a Nintendo 2DS. It’s a handheld gaming console, very similar in style to the 3DS but offered without the ability to display games in 3D, hence a smaller price tag. Every 3DS game works on the 2DS, it is a budget version of the more popular 3DS.
The device is well built and feels solid to hold and use. My 2 year old has got hold of it a couple of times and I have at no point felt concerned that she could break or damage it.
The user interface is wonderfully straightforward to use, packing a lot of information and options into a small space. The two screens are really well utilised in the menus and allow you to find whatever you want quickly and easily.
A HUGE thank you to Sassy Bloom for our beautiful box of treats that arrived this morning.
It contained a stunning collection of goodies including a colourful shaker, a Tommee Tippee bottle, some teething powder, a super cute cuddly turtle, a selection of creams and a personalised bib with our daughter’s name sewn into it.
