A festive stuffing at Ellenden Farm tasting day

Today was Ellenden Farm‘s annual Festive Tasting Day. Following our wonderful experience at their Apple Day we were keen to go along and have a cheeky taste.

I’m now comfortably stuffed on an amazing assortment of delicious pies, burgers, sausages, Turkey, soup, bread and much more.

The Farm’s large barn had been nicely decorated with lights and festive ribbon and was full of a stunning selection festive goodies.

The food and drink is all from local producers and all were very keen for customers to have a taste of there wares. This confidence in their products was very well placed as everything that we sampled was absolutely delicious.

Moo was a huge fan of the sausage rolls, Mummy enjoyed the Mulled Cider and personally the Spot Logins ice cream was my winner.

As well as the food and drink to try and purchase there was a great cooking demonstration from a local chef, Bell ringing, dog agility to watch outside and none other than Father Christmas arrived by pony and trap!

Father Christmas had a grotto on a double decker bus and children happily waited their chance to meet the big man.

All of this was provided totally free of charge! Donations for the Air Ambulance were welcomed for pony and trap rides and for visiting Father Christmas but it was free to enter and enjoy.

We collected together a healthy bag of festive goodies and I didn’t see many people who hasn’t picked up a few treats for themselves and the family.

Again Ellenden Farm provided an outstanding family day out. The whole event was beautifully organised and the food and drink on display was all outstanding.

Ellenden Farm are taking orders for Christmas essentials and treats now.

We’ve been home for half an hour and this is our Moo
